Solar Well Completed at Corrane Refugee Center in Northern Mozambique

From June to August 2021, crews worked to construct a new solar well at the Corrane Refugee Center in the district of Meconta in the Nampula province. This well supports the efforts by the Mozambican government, the UMC in Mozambique and other organizations to provide safe water to those displaced by the destabilization in the neighboring Cabo Delgado province. The new well serves 20,229 people, of which 9,605 are children.
