Quarterly Wells Report - Fall 2022
The Mozambique Initiative is excited to share its fall 2022 wells report detailing the progress and completion of fresh water wells in communities across Mozambique.
Since the start of 2022, 24 wells have been completed, are in process or are in the preparation stage. Two of these are hand-pump wells, and the remaining 22 are solar wells. An estimated 55,500 individuals will benefit from the water made available by these wells.
Of the 24 wells, 12 of them have already been completed this year. They are:
- January: Quengue 2 Local Church - Quengue Guija UMC
- February: Mangumbe Local Church - Hanhane UMC Project
- February: Tambajane UMC (Morrumbene)
- March: Lampiao Macangue Local Church - Chiphongo UMC
- March: Jerusalem UMC
- March: Maxixe UMC (Inhambane West Central)
- April: Nhabacal Local Church - Betania UMC
- April: Carlota Local Church - Cambine UMC
- May: Noa Mundau Local Church - Betula UMC
- July: Zwalo UMC
- August: Mbaule Local Church - J. Nhanala (Fequete) UMC
