The Mozambique Initiative is excited to share its quarter one wells report for 2025. A wells report details the progress and completion of fresh water wells in communities across Mozambique.

The early part of the year is the best time of year to dig wells in Mozambique. Since the start of 2025, five wells have been completed, and another four are in process. The completed wells are:

  • January: Chiunga UMC

  • January: Inhamussua UMC

  • February: Inharrime UMC

  • February: Guilundo UMC

  • March: Lissofuane LC
