The Mozambique Initiative is excited to share the final well numbers for 2025. A wells report, typically released quarterly, details the progress and completion of fresh water wells in communities across Mozambique.

In 2025, 14 wells were completed. Thirteen of these wells were solar tower wells, which you can learn more about here. One of the wells is a hand-pump. An estimated 36,400 people will benefit from the access to this clean water.
