Muadja Clinic Update
“There is no enough breath to express deep gratitude on behalf of his congregation and the surrounding community,” says Adolfo Cando, Muadja UMC pastor. “Muadja is a now a growing village with potable water and electricity! We are unique in this remote area.”
The Muadja Clinic will serve many, especially pregnant women and children. While more facilities will be required for the treatment of certain diseases, this is only the beginning. Pastor Cando says people come from as far as 25kms away just to see the infrastructure. He believes the number of people needing assistance will be large.
Muadja UMC has continued to see growth despite the limitations placed on worship services due to COVID-19. Pastor Cando says the church has grown to an average of 200 people in attendance.
Pastor Cando says his community’s dream is as the clinic grows to establish an elementary school as well because currently hundreds of children cross a dangerous highway to reach school.
“We feel your presence and all what is happening here brings your faces back to this region,” Cando says. “We think and pray for you always. May God continue pouring more blessings so that similar initiatives can be repeated countrywide.”
