Help with Hunger
Over $60,000 has already been dispersed through this campaign, your gift will extend the reach to more people facing challenging times.
COVID-19 has disrupted food supply chains around the world. On the whole, it is the poor who suffer. The UN's World Food Programme recently released its "Global Report on Food Crises" which warned that food security is at risk due to the pandemic. Some estimate that 265 million people, twice as many as 2019, will face acute food shortages this year. This will affect many in sub-Saharan Africa.
We can respond to this need. MI has a unique network across Mozambique. The connection of pastors, lay leaders and community leaders that comprise MI enable us to get funds and resources to the areas most in need. Funds donated will be distributed through MI's leadership in Mozambique to support local economies, respond in the most critical areas and consider the most vulnerable populations. Your donation, no matter the size, can help ensure someone in need has a meal tomorrow.
